Job description
Summary:
- Location: Onsite
- Acquire and adhere to all established health and safety rules.
- Learn and apply job skills, company policies, and procedures to complete assigned tasks and adhere to the production plan schedule while producing high-quality products.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following policies and procedures.
- Work on routine assignments requiring limited judgment and follow detailed instructions under close supervision.
- Champion the company’s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs.
- Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of products and maintain efficiencies.
- Perform tasks such as hand soldering, working under a microscope, reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, and work orders.
- Prepare product components and fixtures for assembly and perform bonding processes.
- Fabricate cable assemblies and perform limited testing of products.
- Engage in routine hands-on assembly tasks in the manufacture of Eddy Current probes, Ultrasonic transducers, or BondMaster sensors.
- High School Diploma.
- Less than 1 year of related experience.
- Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope is a plus.
- Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
- Computer skills and literacy are a plus.
- Highly organized, self-managed individual who can work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to embrace change and be a team player.
- Enjoy contributing to a diverse manufacturing group.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods.
