Fishers EventCenterhas an excellent and immediate opening for apart-timePremium Services SupervisorattheFishers Event Center.ThePremium ServicesSupervisor requires an individual to have supervisory skills, customer service skills, positive attitude, knowledge of food preparation, overseeall areas in preparing location and area for day-to-day operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ordering,receivingand preparing fooditems
Attend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with otherdepartments
Oversee and direct hourly culinarystaff
Mustposseseffectivecommunicationwith Suite owners. Suite guests, premium guests
Ensures all requisitionstothe Warehouse and Kitchen are received in a timely manner, in accordance with Company policy.
Coordinates with Kitchen on the timing and production of functions
Mustpossesseffective communications skills to liaise between Kitchen and Warehouse Teams
Able to adequately trouble shoot point of saleequipment
Oversees.Direct andassistsuite attendants/catering staff,bartendersor premium clubstaff
Checkon suites and clubs throughout events to ensurea high levelof gustservice
Maintaining allSuite and premium clubequipment cleanliness
Inventoryand qualitycontrols
Working hours vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, andweekends
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises all kitchen personnel and stewarding staff.Carries outsupervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withcompany policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired
Serve-safecertified
Education and/or Experience
At least1yearofsupervisoryexperience in asimilar venue or restaurant
Mustpossessa valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise trainingcourses
Skills and Abilities
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
Results oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals.
Excellent organizational, planning, communication, andinter-personalskills.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
Computer skillsto includeExcel programs.
Must adhere to local Health Department codes.
Ability to be creative with food presentations andmaintaina quality product.
