As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Data Scientist. Project Summary

AIS is seeking a Data Scientist for an AI Engineering contract supporting a federal customer in a hybrid role in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Data Scientist will help develop and deploy AI models from ideation to production.

Required For This Opportunity
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Data Science.

  • Must have hands-on experience with Python, Python DS Tech Stack (tensorflow, scikit-learn, pandas, etc.)

  • Must have experience with database systems.

  • Must have a Secret clearance

  • Must have experience deploying Machine Learning (ML) models.

Nice to Have Skills
  • A certification in Data Science, AI, or another related certification is preferred, but not required.

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $116,000-$174,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location. We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
