Sr Full Stack Java Developer - Okemos, MI (Hybrid) | Long-Term Contract
About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Angular.
- Optimize application performance with advanced JVM profiling and troubleshooting.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Jersey and modern front-end technologies.
- Implement efficient database solutions with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and project planning sessions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
- Expertise in Core Java/J2EE and deep understanding of JVM with profiling.
- Proficiency in Spring Framework, Angular, Typescript, Node, HTML/CSS, Jersey.
- Strong database skills: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and critical thinking abilities.
- Clear communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Unix/Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Docker, Memcache, Redis, SAML.
