Sr Associate Data Analytics
Duties: Support Cybersecurity and Digital Trust (CDT) metric reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and stakeholder alignment; Develop and deliver advanced dashboards that integrate strategic, operational, and tactical level views of various cybersecurity metrics using analytics tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire and R; Drive the design and implementation of on-demand reporting solutions that support high-impact decision-making across business and technical teams; Guide data discovery initiatives to identify reporting enhancements and develop scalable, optimized data storage solutions; Maintain awareness of the changing analytics environment by partnering with Amgen's Visualization and Insights Platform team and industry; Serve as a liaison with Amgen's Security Metrics and Analytics team and stakeholders to evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; Align data and analytics initiatives with the program's strategic vision, ensuring adoption of interoperable, cost-effective, and authorized technologies such as cloud platform; Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, data engineers and data scientists to identify & prioritize requirements, brainstorm solutions, and clarify business objectives for data-centric solutions in order to achieve continuous improvement in cyber defense/resilience; Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation of metrics, data workflows, and reporting processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and audit readiness; Develop, implement, and sustain operational scripts, data structures, libraries and programming code that optimize security in emergent compute patterns with diverse applications throughout the global environment; Operate with initiative, effectively managing priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight; and Demonstrate strong leadership in communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement with a customer-focused mindset. Requirements: Master's degree or (foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics & Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field & completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or one year of experience the following:
Design and develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards leveraging Business Intelligence and reporting tools including Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Business Objects to drive analytical insights;
Involvement in designing and testing or building and implementing end-to-end solutions using technologies such as Amazon Web Services, S3, Databricks, Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other SaaS solutions;
Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning concepts and tools, with a foundational understanding of algorithms and frameworks used for advanced analytics and anomaly detection;
Performing data exploration and building reports and statistical models around data patterns;
Testing processes and validating data in the Datawarehouse using DbVisualizer; along with experience in database management with proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis;
Engaging in Change Management Processes to ease the process of monitoring and managing dependencies;
Programming skills in both compiled including C, C++ and interpreted languages including Python, R, SAS), with practical experience in high-level languages such as Java and C#; and
Working in Agile and DevOps teams, with practical experience in SCRUM practices and collaborative, iterative delivery.

Job type: Full-Time position. The annual salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,056.00 - $117,615.00 per year. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
