    American Structurepoint's Civil Site Engineering Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer in Columbus, OH! In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management. You'll collaborate with licensed engineers and contribute to the design and development of land development projects that impact local communities. This role works extensively with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel as you create and refine construction plans.

    Responsibilities
    What you'll do:
    • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Team Leaders on a variety of exciting land development projects-including industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban redevelopment, and affordable housing
    • Get hands-on experience in drafting, plan production, field inspections, design coordination, and cost estimation
    • Use tools like AutoCAD and HydroCAD to support real-world design and stormwater management solutions
    • Assist with engineering tasks such as performing calculations, preparing permit applications, writing technical specs, and creating exhibits and presentation materials
    • Take on a variety of project-related tasks, giving you broad exposure to how land development projects move from concept to construction
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications
    Who you are:
    • Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related program with a focus on civil infrastructure
    • Reliable transportation to and from the office or local project sites
    • Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to try new things
