Job description
At American Communities, we don’t just manage apartments—we transform communities into homes. We’re a family-owned real estate company dedicated to creating vibrant, comfortable, and well-maintained communities where residents are proud to live.
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our community running smoothly and providing exceptional service to our residents. Your day will include:
???? Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and more
???? Completing maintenance requests and vacant-unit punch work
????️ Performing preventative maintenance and property inspections
???? Providing friendly, professional service to residents
???? Participating in an on-call rotation
???? Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas safe, clean, and organized
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA Type I & II or Universal certification
- 1–5 years of apartment or related maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
