We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic IT Compliance Specialist to oversee our regulatory framework and ensure our technology infrastructure meets the highest standards of security and integrity. This role is perfect for a professional who enjoys bridging the gap between technical operations and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Implementation: Define and execute IT compliance strategies, developing new processes to mitigate risk and improve operational efficiency.
Compliance Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end hardware and software compliance lifecycle, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI, HIPAA, and SOX.
Risk & Recovery: Lead IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning to ensure organizational resilience.
Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships and contract management to ensure third-party compliance with internal standards.
Documentation: Maintain extensive process documentation and audit trails for all IT systems and security practices.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in IT, with at least 5+ years specifically in a Compliance role involving project management and strategy.
Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT system platforms and data privacy laws.
Certifications: ITIL Foundations certification is a significant plus.
