Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer - AI Data & Infrastructure
About the Role

- Design, build, and optimize high-performance Python systems supporting large-scale AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
- Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for data annotation, validation, and quality control at scale
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, edge cases, and reliability issues across production codebases
- Collaborate closely with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training and evaluation infrastructure
- Improve safety, performance, and maintainability of existing systems
- Participate in synchronous design reviews and iterate on system architecture with expert colleagues
- Native or fluent English speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full-stack developer with a solid systems programming background
- 5+ years of professional experience writing production-grade Python
- Deep understanding of performance optimization and concurrency - asyncio, multiprocessing, threading - and type safety tools like Pydantic and mypy
- Proven experience building robust backend services (FastAPI, Django, or similar) or scalable data pipelines
- Able to commit 20-40 hours per week with reliability and professionalism
- Prior experience with data annotation platforms, data quality workflows, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model training pipelines, or benchmarking infrastructure
- Experience with distributed systems, developer tooling, or MLOps
- Work directly with leading AI research labs on systems that matter
