Job description

Job Summary:
Akima is a federal mission services contractor that supports shareholder communities in Alaska. The Project Manager – Enterprise Architecture is responsible for leading the execution of business and IT architectural design services, overseeing program delivery, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing TSA’s EA Program, identifying opportunities to increase EA efficiency. improve information sharing and reduce costs within the EA environment.
• Manage full contract lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Develop and coordinate business plans, project budgets, and contractual documentation Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
• Deliver executive-level presentations and status reports to stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and foster high-performing project teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as Project Manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, team building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred:
• Experience managing projects within airport environments or transportation.
• PMP certification.
