Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and wells in line with operating procedures, safety guidelines, and daily operational plans.
- Monitor wells and equipment continuously to identify corrective and optimisation actions that support safe and reliable performance.
- Coordinate, control, and monitor corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform simple maintenance tasks as part of equipment care responsibilities.
- Provide clear and accurate shift handovers to maintain continuity of operations and updated unit conditions.
- Record relevant operational events, abnormalities, and deviations within the work area accurately.
- Take product samples for laboratory analysis and carry out field laboratory tests.
- Report alarms, emergency issues, incidents, and shutdown system concerns in line with established procedures.
- Support emergency response activities and maintain strong communication across the work team.
- Assist with diagnosing well production problems and provide support to Wellwork operations when required.
- Essential: Completed secondary education.
- Essential: Previous experience working as a Field/Production Technician, or Lease Operator.
- Essential: Extensive knowledge and/or experience of pipeline operations.
- Plus: Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
- Plus: Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures.
- Plus: Knowledge of relevant regulations and commercial agreements.
- Plus: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Plus: High standard of safety, health, and environmental awareness.
