Job description

Bilingual Human Resources Specialist (English/Spanish)
Location: Oakdale, CA
Pay Rate: $23.00–$27.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Standard Office Hours
Assignment Dates: August 10, 2026 – September 25, 2026
 
Position Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist who is fluent in both English and Spanish to support our Human Resources team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping employees, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting HR, payroll, and benefits functions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and HR case management system.

  • Assist employees and managers with HR, payroll, and benefits inquiries.

  • Educate employees on available self-service tools.

  • Process confidential employee transactions accurately

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Wellness programs.

  • Maintain accurate employee records within Workday.

  • Support team members across all HR functions.
QualificationsRequired

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • MUST be fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) to be considered

  • 0–3 years of HR-related experience

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

  • Experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, or another HRIS

  • HR Shared Services or Call Center experience

  • Knowledge of HR, payroll, and employee benefits
