Job Description:

The incumbent in this positionis responsible fordeveloping and coordinating programs to attract and host mid- to high-limit players to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits. The incumbent is also responsible for developing andestablishingrelationships with Hard Rock CasinoTejonmidrange gaming guestsin order toencourage return visits and create guest loyalty. The position is called upon to interactfrequentlywith mid- to high limit guests and make decisionsregardingextensions of complimentary services and/or goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a position that requires the successful candidate to be on site.

This position requires that successful candidatesareavailable to guests via phone and email after working hours, weekends, holidays, etc.

Under the direction of the Director of Player Development, this position responsible for the implementation, development, and coordination of Player Development programs to attract,acquireand host mid-level players to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits. The incumbent is also responsible for on and off-property efforts toestablishand develop relationships with those who have the means and potential to become high value gaming guests. The position is called upon to interactfrequentlywith high value guests and makes decisionsregardingextensions of complimentary services and/or goods while stationed at a designated podium.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces premium guests to make Hard Rock Casino their choice of gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building andretainingguest relations and acts as a mentor to team membersin order toprovide superior guest service.

  • Primary focus of this position is to drive new/trial play to the property as well asidentifynon-hosted, qualified players present on the gaming floor

  • Responsible for targeting, developing, and assessing new business relationships and developing those relationships resulting in repeat visitation

  • Manages their book of business to achieve semiannual and annual theoretical goals whilemaintainingprofitability throughappropriate re-investmentlevels.

  • Maintains relationships with VIP guests through personal contact by phone and in person with the goal of increasing new business.

  • Staff front of house Casino Host podiums to provide service to qualified Unity members

  • Works toutilizedirect mail to actively recruit VIP players.

  • Assistswith planning and execution ofspecial events.

  • Fullycomplies withall applicable rules, regulations, laws, and policies, and conducts themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty.

  • Supports and cultivatesnew ideasand methods to deliver business solutions.

  • Develops critical thinking skills to handle increasingly complex matters.

  • Assistin the development of guest invitation lists forspecial eventsconducted by Hard Rock.

  • Convey Unity program and qualification requirementstoprospective gaming guests.

  • Represent the casino at on and off property events in the capacity of a Player Development Executive Host.

  • MonitorsSalesForcetheoretical production and reinvestment and changes strategy when requiredin order tomeet stated goals

  • Ensure that all guests are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner. Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively while escalating concerns asappropriate.

  • Anticipates, responds to, and consistently meets or exceeds the needs of internal clients.

  • Must be knowledgeable of, and be able to explain, games offered by the casino, current marketingpromotionsand programs.

  • Providecomplimentary tocasino patrons according to the approved internal controls and approved Complimentary Matrix.

  • Maintain players' database andmonitorplayers' visits,spendingand preferences, to tailor marketing campaigns (including telemarketing, email, and personal invites) to encourage return visits while developing the business.

  • Assistguests with inquiries, reservations and special requests while stationed at a designated podium, serving as a professional and welcoming point of contact.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Casino Marketing or related field with 2 years host experience or 1yearsmarketing experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.

  • Must obtain andmaintainall Gaming licenses / certifications.

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.

  • Must be able to work nights,holidaysand weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

  • Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred.

Knowledge of:

  • Understanding ofand experience in the property's regional gaming market.

  • Hard Rock marketing functionsincluding, but not limited to customer acquisition, database, promotions, advertising, and branding.

  • Operations, services and activities ofa comprehensivemarketing and database programs.

  • Procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,Outlookand PowerPoint.

  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
