Job description

The franchised Trademark by Wyndham location in New York, New York is seeking a Front Desk Agent (Franchise) to join its team at the The Beekman Tower - Trademark Collection by Wyndham?.

The Role

The Hotel Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in ensuring a positive guest experience. Existing or new membership in the local 32BJ is required.

What you'll do

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.

  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.

  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly.

  • Maintain accurate guest records and payment information.

  • Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding room status and guest needs.

  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

  • Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional.

  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and security standards.

  • Prepare daily reports and complete administrative tasks as required.
