Our mission at Bullfrog Spas is simple: Create peaceful lives. We look for enthusiastic people who appreciate our mission and are eager to make it a reality for our customers. If this sounds like you, you will enjoy it here. For customers, we realize our mission through innovative products and extraordinary service. This focus on culture has helped to make Bullfrog Spas the world's fastest-growing premium hot tub manufacturer, one of the area's premier brands, and an incredible place to work.
Role Overview
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) partners with business stakeholders, development, and QA to ensure Bullfrog's systems support real business needs in a clear, reliable, and scalable way. This role focuses on understanding how the business operates, translating needs into clear system requirements, and aligning teams before work begins so solutions are delivered efficiently and correctly. Success in this role comes from strong judgment, communication, and the ability to bring clarity to complex processes. Success in this role is measured by the clarity and alignment established before development begins, reducing rework, defects, and late-stage surprises.

  • Requirements Definition: Define clear, testable functional requirements and acceptance criteria that development and QA can execute against with minimal rework
  • Cross-Team Alignment: Collaborate with development, QA, and delivery teams to establish shared understanding before work begins
  • Solution Evaluation: Evaluate solution options including configuration, integrations, third-party platforms, or custom development. Clearly communicate tradeoffs to support sound decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing systems and processes and propose practical, implementable improvements
  • Documentation & Traceability: Maintain organized documentation of requirements, assumptions, and decisions to support long-term system clarity
Requirements
  • Business/System Analysis Experience: 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a closely related role, with demonstrated ownership of requirements from discovery through delivery
  • Requirements & Acceptance Criteria Writing: Demonstrated ability to produce clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria
  • SDLC Knowledge: Working knowledge of modern software delivery lifecycles and collaboration with development and QA teams
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus Skills We Prefer
  • Enterprise Systems Experience: Experience with CRM, service management, HRIS, or workflow platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Asana, Paylocity, Zuper)
  • ERP Implementation Experience: Experience supporting ERP transitions where teams must navigate integrating existing customized systems and adopting standardized, constraint-driven ERP workflows
  • Systems Integration Exposure: Familiarity with integrations, automation, and data-driven workflows
  • Process Design Skills: Experience documenting end-to-end business processes or system behavior
  • Analytical Tooling: Experience using modern tools, including AI-assisted analysis tools, to accelerate requirement drafting, identify edge cases, validate completeness, and improve overall quality of documentation
Additional Details About This Role
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Travel: Minimal
  • Work Location: Herriman, UT
  • Reporting: This position reports to Business Systems Manager
