Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client needs, mental health concerns, strengths, and resources, utilizing tools such as structured interviews and standardized assessments.
  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy through evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
  • Developing and implementing individual treatment plans, tailored to each client’s unique needs, with specific goals and intervention strategies informed by ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to coordinate client care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
  • Responding effectively to crisis situations by performing risk assessments and creating safety plans to support clients in distress.
  • Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation of client encounters and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR), adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitating psychotherapy groups and psychoeducational classes, focusing on skill-building and peer support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health conditions. This ranges from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.
  • A minimum of two years of proven experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating robust clinical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and mental health treatment strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations and the ability to offer culturally competent care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote care delivery.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and safety planning strategies.
Compensation and Benefits
