Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions that are tailored to the unique needs of clients, using evidence-based modalities to foster healing and growth.
• Engage in clinical consultations with care teams to address complex mental health issues across varied patient demographics, including the geriatric population and individuals dealing with substance use disorders.
• Gather and interpret vital information about clients and their families, incorporating social histories to better inform treatment plans and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring holistic approaches that consider home and community factors.
• Maintain meticulous progress notes and documentation of client sessions, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Stay updated with continuing education and training to ensure that your skills and knowledge align with the best practices in mental health care.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team initiatives and enhance patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing chronic mental health challenges, older adults requiring specialized geriatric support, and patients with substance use disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each with their unique stories and experiences. This diversity enriches our practice, fostering a deeper understanding of mental health issues within different cultural and social contexts.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Current independent licensure in California as a LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT is essential.
• Proven ability to effectively document and summarize client progress and treatment insights efficiently post-session.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous, promoting familiarity with virtual client engagement tactics and technology.
• Demonstrated success in working within interdisciplinary teams, especially in mental health-focused environments.
• Experience with geriatric care and understanding of substance use disorders are highly desirable assets.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually. In addition to a rewarding compensation package, we offer a comprehensive benefits plan that includes:
