About the Organization

At Well Spring Healthcare Services, we specialize in delivering comprehensive mental health support tailored to the unique needs of individuals across various stages of life. Our professionals are committed to creating a safe, empowering atmosphere that promotes personal growth, healing, and resilience. We take pride in our ability to understand and address the specific challenges faced by our clients, particularly seniors and their families, allowing us to make a meaningful impact on their lives.

Work Environment

This position operates in a remote setting, providing flexibility for our dedicated professionals. While your primary interaction with clients will be virtual, you may occasionally coordinate visits within local educational facilities or community resources to ensure appropriate support is provided. Our typical work hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some potential for evening or weekend engagements based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' psychosocial needs by considering emotional, mental, and social factors.
  • Collaborate with students, their families, and educational staff to develop tailored care plans that address individual goals and preferences.
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to help students navigate academic pressures, transitions, and other challenges.
  • Advocate for students’ rights and ensure they have access to necessary community resources, fostering their growth and development.
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, coordinating with teachers, caregivers, and healthcare providers to enhance the overall support for students.
  • Regularly monitor student well-being through virtual check-ins and assess their learning and social environments for potential improvements.
  • Facilitate family communication and mediate conflicts regarding student care, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.
  • Educate families about available resources, support groups, and programs that promote community engagement and overall well-being.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client assessments, care plans, progress notes, and relevant interventions.
  • Stay current on social work practices, policies, and regulations to ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students within a school-community context, including at-risk youth and those experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. You will play a crucial role in helping these students develop coping strategies, improve their emotional resilience, and achieve educational success.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of social work experience, preferably in a clinical or educational setting involving youth.
  • Strong knowledge of social work principles, adolescent mental health issues, and available community resources.
  • Exceptional assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and demonstrate empathy when working with students and their families.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective teamwork with a focus on client well-being.
  • Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications for documentation and case management.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within educational environments or with school-aged children and adolescents is highly preferred.
  • Background in community outreach and program development related to mental health is a plus.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices will contribute to your effectiveness in this role.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO) along with holiday pay.
