Job description
Our client seeks an experience Probate Paralegal with at least of 3 years of experience.
100% on-site
Downtown Houston
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case initiation to closure
- Draft and file court documents, including exhibits and e-filings
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests (interrogatories, document production, etc.)
- Assist with depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and dockets
- Coordinate electronic discovery and document management
- Prepare probate pleadings, estate tax returns, and trust accountings
- Manage trust administration, probate matters, and conservatorships
- Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Possess solid technical proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and keep attorneys informed
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with 3+ years of relevant legal experience preferred
