Job description

 

Exception Lane Specialist Lead - 2nd Shift 

 

The Warehouse team is seeking an Exception Lane Specialist Lead to aid in ensuring all packages are properly labeled and directed while conducting periodic audits to verify product are packed to company quality standards. Hourly rate starts at $22/hour or more depending on experience with a 2nd shift premium of $1/hour.   

 

As an Exception Lane Specialist, you will

  • Resolve issues that come through the line including, but not limited to:
  • Issues with Fed Ex labels
  • Containers with no or incomplete information
  • System issues
  • Picker issues
  • Perform audits on packed containers
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
  • Contact Bastian support to aid in resolving conveyor issues
  • Email any and all necessary parties with regard to exception line issues
  • Communicate via radio to report all package and conveyor issues 
  • Work as part of a team to ensure efficiency when processing orders
  • Train new and existing team members on company and departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols; enforce all company policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Follow all safety and company procedures while performing work duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned, both within and outside of the department         

Qualifications

  • Able to lift up to 60lbs
  • Flexible to work weekends and overtime, as required
  • Team player with great attendance
  • Possess basic computer skills including Epicor; Varsity and Ship Manager experience is a plus
  • Able to read and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A high degree of attention required to prevent accidents and injuries
