Job description

Voices For Independence, a prestigious center for independent living with facilities throughout Western, PA, has an immediate need for a Direct Care Worker to assist individuals with disabilities.
This position offers:
• PAID TRAINING
• FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING
• PAID TIME OFF

Start or continue a career helping others in a rewarding, fun, and growing field.
Duties and responsibilities of this job may include assisting people with disabilities with light housekeeping, laundry, bathing, dressing, along with meal prep & clean up. Candidates may also schedule medical appointments and facilitate social & leisure activities.
Experience working with persons with disabilities is beneficial but not required. Reliable transportation is preferred. Working some weekend days is expected.
Hours available: Find your best fit with schedules. Schedule available: 9-5pm Saturday and Sunday-7 days 9-5pm Mon thru Fri
Pay rate: $13.70 a hour.
