Position Overview

Vista Therapy Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient clinic team in Lakewood, New Jersey. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. The Physical Therapist will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, helping them achieve optimal functional outcomes and enhance their quality of life.

Work Environment

Located in Lakewood, New Jersey, the Vista Therapy Group outpatient office is designed to provide state-of-the-art facilities for patients recovering from various physical challenges. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team comprising physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals focused on holistic patient care. Our facility promotes a culture of teamwork and shared learning, making it an excellent environment for innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients’ physical capabilities and limitations, developing customized treatment plans based on findings.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to improve functionality.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, patient progress, and communications with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Engage in regular collaboration with multi-disciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and administrative staff to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Oversee and support the development of clinical trainees, sharing expertise through mentoring and guidance.
  • Participate actively in community outreach initiatives and marketing efforts to enhance the visibility of rehabilitation services offered by Vista Therapy Group.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices, regulatory standards, and emerging treatment modalities.
  • Serve as a resource for less experienced staff, contributing to their professional growth and enhancing the overall competency of the team.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team as required.
  • Stay compliant with all licensure requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational policies to ensure high standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic primarily caters to a diverse range of adult patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic illnesses, or experiencing rehabilitation post-injury. Our holistic approach considers the unique physical, emotional, and social factors affecting each patient, underlining our commitment to compassionate, personalized care.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • An active State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • A background in community outreach initiatives will be an added advantage.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
