About the Job: 

Ark Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the gold standard in medical and surgical care. We believe healthy pets make happy people, and we strive to provide high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. 

Pay Rate: $100,000 - $150,000 for full-time DVMs (commensurate with experience/shift schedule) 

Schedule Needs: Full-Time, 30-40 hours per week  

GP Hours: M-F: 8AM - 5PM; Sat/Sun: Closed

Our state-of-the-art equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasound. We've got the tools to save lives and keep tails wagging! Our doctors can perform a wide range of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. We take anesthesia seriously, with thorough pre-op lab work, IV catheters, IV fluids, and vigilant monitoring from our skilled surgical technicians. 

NO on call: Are you up for a little weekend adventure? We'd love someone open to Saturday rotations, but don't worry - no on-call responsibilities! You can make the most of your weekends. 

Work-Life Balance: Life outside of the clinic is extremely important. We are ready to match a schedule that you desire. We typically work Monday to Friday hours of 8 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm, giving you time for brunch, Netflix, and the good stuff! Plus, ample time for medical records and client chats.

Qualifications: 

• Licensed West Virginia Veterinarian - active and in good standing 

• All experience levels considered 

• General surgical experience or willingness to learn preferred
