Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying individual needs, challenges, and aspirations.
  • Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique situation.
  • Leading individual counseling sessions that employ proven techniques such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to encourage clients’ engagement in the recovery process.
  • Facilitating supportive group therapy sessions, fostering a community atmosphere where clients can share experiences and strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, including medical professionals, to ensure integrated care approaches that meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Providing immediate crisis intervention support during emergency situations related to substance use, ensuring clients receive prompt care.
  • Educating clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and skills.
  • Maintaining meticulous documentation to uphold legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all interactions.
  • Participating actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest advancements in substance use treatment.
  • Continuously updating professional knowledge related to best practices and emerging research in the field of addiction recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
  • Proficient understanding of substance use disorders, treatment standards, and recovery frameworks.
  • Demonstrable experience in providing both individual and group therapy in addiction treatment settings.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently within a remote setting while being an engaged and active team member.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in mental health therapy, particularly within substance use recovery.

  • Previous involvement with team-based approaches in clinical settings.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
