Hospital Manager – Pet Partners Animal Clinic in Sussex, Wisconsin
 
Are you an experienced veterinary leader who thrives in a fastpaced environment and loves making a meaningful impact? 
 
We’re looking for a compassionate, decisive, and highly organized Hospital Manager to guide our veterinary team and help shape the future of our hospital. 
 
About the Role 
 
As our Hospital Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone of the hospital, supporting our medical team, driving workflow efficiency, and fostering a culture of kindness, education, collaboration, and accountability. This role is ideal for someone who can take charge with confidence,  while still leading with empathy. 
 
What You’ll Do 
  • Oversee daily hospital operations and ensure smooth, efficient workflow 
  • Support and mentor staff while promoting a positive, teamfocused culture 
  • Make strong, informed decisions in a busy, dynamic environment 
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, client service, and administrative functions 
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians and technicians to maintain high standards of care 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and help implement solutions
  • Multitask effectively while staying calm under pressure

  • Veterinary industry experience required (hospital leadership experience strongly preferred)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities 
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environment 
  • Technical/medical skills are a plus but not required 
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of pets, clients, and staff 
  • Experience managing P&L and analyzing key performance indicators
  • Proven success in recruiting, hiring, and developing high-quality teams
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
