What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, and cytology
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts
  • Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar efficiently
  • Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate client and patient information
  • Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients
  • Support exceptional client communication and education
  • Help maintain smooth daily hospital operations

What Our Veterinary Assistant / Receptionists Bring

  • Previous veterinary receptionist experience with strong customer service skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Experience coordinating appointments and optimizing clinic workflow
  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint skills
  • Familiarity with low-stress or Fear Free handling techniques preferred
  • Comfort learning and using practice management software, including Avimark
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
