Overview:
Vantage Point Consulting is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support our client's Hackensack, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT support professional with strong customer service skills and a background in hardware, software, and user support within a professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and provide hands-on technology support in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Support and troubleshoot video conferences using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Maintain and track IT equipment inventory.
- Document support activity and resolutions in the Firm's ticketing system.
- Follow established help desk procedures and maintain strong documentation discipline.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
- Periodically travel to other firm offices to provide onsite support.
- Participate in office buildouts and expansions as needed.
- Provide occasional shift coverage or extended hours support when required.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook and Word.
- Experience with iManage document management system strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
