What You'll Do

• Prep and maintain the quantities of ingredients needed for our salads, sandwiches and bowls
• Chop, slice, portion and prep with consistency and attention to detail
• Follow recipes and prep lists to keep the kitchen stocked and ready for service
• Keep your workspace clean, organized and up to food safety standards at all times
• Communicate with the team to anticipate needs and stay ahead of the rush
• Jump in wherever the kitchen needs you

What You Bring

• A passion for precision and a high standard for quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs
• Reliability and a positive, team-first attitude
• Prior prep or kitchen experience a plus — but we'll train the right person!

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. We craft gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls using refined local ingredients — all served with a smile in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Able to communicate effectively and clearly with team – Bilingual a plus
