Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Acute Care
Work Setting: Inpatient Acute Care (Med-Tele / Med-Surg)
Schedule: On-site, hospital-based
Region: Southeastern Arizona

Role Overview

This entry-level Acute Care Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within a Med-Tele / Med-Surg inpatient environment. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.

This role is well-suited for early-career nurses seeking to build strong acute-care fundamentals in a supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process

  • Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status

  • Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

  • Supervise and guide ancillary personnel as appropriate

  • Maintain professional nursing standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

  • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact-eligible)

  • 1–2 years of inpatient or acute-care nursing experience

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Compensation & Incentives
  • Salary Range: $67,073 – $85,569 (DOE)

  • Sign-On and/or Relocation Bonus: Available for candidates with 2+ years of experience
