Unity Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team full-time in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Provide various therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, families, and groups.
• Document all clinical interactions and treatment progress accurately, maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Maintain a structured caseload, allowing for a balance of client sessions and administrative responsibilities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve diverse populations within our community health clinic framework, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance misuse. Your role will be crucial in bridging gaps in care for underserved individuals and families, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, ideally within a similar healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards within the mental health field.
• Proven ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse client groups.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary team collaboration to enhance client care outcomes.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and therapeutic technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for the Licensed Professional Counselor position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
