Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess their social, emotional, and environmental challenges, and identify their specific needs.
  • Design and implement individualized service plans that outline clear, actionable goals and interventions, monitoring client progress regularly.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling to individuals and families experiencing challenges, utilizing techniques grounded in trauma-informed care.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and develop risk assessments and safety plans tailored to clients facing immediate threats or mental health crises.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to connect them with vital community resources, ensuring they have access to necessary support systems.
  • Engage with local agency partners to coordinate services and advocate effectively on behalf of clients within the community.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to increase awareness of available services and promote the agency's mission.
  • Contribute to team cohesion by participating in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional training opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a wide array of clients who confront adversities including homelessness, substance misuse, mental health disorders, and domestic violence. Your ability to empathically engage with and empower these individuals and families will be pivotal in fostering resilience and facilitating positive life changes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex social, economic justice issues, and a robust knowledge of local community resources.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, cultural competence, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in a social service organization, community health clinic, or similar setting.
  • Background in crisis intervention and mental health counseling.
  • Experience utilizing electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
