Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs and establish tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and continuous support throughout the therapeutic process, addressing immediate mental health concerns as they arise.
  • Oversee the discharge planning process, ensuring that clients transition smoothly from treatment to aftercare.
  • Document detailed case notes and maintain accurate records to meet compliance guidelines and support continuity of care.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on cognitive-behavioral techniques and other evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and social services, to ensure integrated care delivery for clients.
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Engage in treatment conferences, contributing to case discussions and strategy formulation for effective client outcomes.
  • Empower clients by providing resources and educational materials pertaining to their treatment goals.
  • Supervise and mentor social work interns or students as needed, fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a broad demographic spectrum, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. You will play a crucial role in addressing their unique needs, providing compassionate care while using innovative telehealth techniques to improve their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Active Washington state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong understanding of telehealth methodologies and the ability to utilize technology effectively in patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in telehealth counseling, demonstrating the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for remote delivery.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to efficiently manage documentation and patient workflows.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural sensitivities in mental health.
Compensation and Benefits

Unity Point Mental Health Center offers an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes:
