JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the In-Home Services Director, the Personal In Home Aide will assist older adults with their activities of daily living or provide respite in the home for the Caregiver.
RESPONSIBILITIES, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
  • Give assistance to the client as written in the care plan by the In-Home Services Director such as assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and light housekeeping.
  • Report any fall, injury or significant change of a client to the In-Home Services Director or Executive Director, if the In-Home Services Director is not available.
  • Have client sign time-sheet, after Aide has completed her assigned tasks, noting the time spent and accuracy of work.
  • Any other duties requested by immediate Supervisor or Director.
  • Attend staff meetings and in-service training as provided.
  • Other duties as assigned

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Commission on Aging Board of Directors, Executive Director
RESPONSIBLE TO: In-Home Services Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • All applicants should have sincere empathy and a caring feeling toward senior persons; and be able to work well with the elderly, incapacitated and lonely individuals.
  • Applicants should have experience working with seniors, preferably in home case.
  • Criminal Background checks, driver's history checks, drug screen, and physical must be passed.
  • All personnel should present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.
