Job description

Role Purpose

The HR Business Partner for Customer Operations North America serves as a strategic advisor to the regional leadership team, driving business performance through a focused and forward-looking people agenda. This role translates business priorities into impactful HR agenda with a strong people-first mindset, ensuring the organization is structured, skilled, and engaged to deliver growth, service excellence, and productivity targets.

Operating within a large and complex North America market, the role is instrumental in connecting global Customer Operations priorities with local execution. It plays a critical role in stabilizing performance while enabling transformation at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with Customer Operations NA leadership to translate business priorities into a targeted HR agenda with a people-first mindset

  • Provide strategic advice on organization effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership capability

  • Enable delivery of productivity, service, and transformation goals

  • Organization Design & Workforce Planning

  • Drive organization design aligned to business priorities and operating model evolution

  • Lead workforce planning to ensure the right skills, roles, and capacity are in place

  • Identify and address capability gaps, including future-ready skills

Talent Management & Performance

  • Lead talent and succession planning to ensure strong pipelines for critical roles

  • Drive robust performance management, including calibration and differentiation

  • Support development and retention of high-performing and high-potential talent

Culture, Engagement & People Care

  • Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture

  • Embed and continuously drive people care initiatives to strengthen employee experience and wellbeing

  • Drive engagement actions aligned to regional context and business priorities

  • Strengthen leadership effectiveness and team dynamics

  • Transformation & Change Management

  • Lead the people agenda for key transformation initiatives

  • Drive adoption of new ways of working across the NA organization

  • Partner with leaders to manage change impact, communication, and engagement

  • Ensure transformation is delivered with clear linkage to business outcomes and people impact

HR Governance & Delivery

  • Deliver core HR processes (middle and end of year, talent forums, workforce plans)

  • Ensure compliance with global HR policies, reward frameworks, and governance standards

  • Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and track performance outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • Proven senior HR Business Partnering experience in a complex, matrix environment, preferably within CPG industry

  • Strong expertise in organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning

  • Experience leading transformation and change initiatives

  • Experience supporting and influencing senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

Pay: The pay range for this position is $146,200 to $219,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
