At Ulta Beauty, our tech team is critical to our scalability—and is recognized that way. We’ve been defined as a “mature start-up.” A place where interdepartmental exposure, open doors, and genuine collaboration is ubiquitous. Where challenges come fast and furious, requiring agility, mental dexterity, and creativity. Where our passion for better solutions drives us and is core to who we are.

  • Technical Expertise: Ability to shape the vision of products and lead the development of all products, including solution architecture and technical ownership of products and platforms
  • Vison/Strategy: Translate RMN product strategy into clear technical roadmaps that support longterm growth, flexibility, and ownership
  • Cultural Champion: Champion the adoption of agile and product development practices focused on delivering value by partnering with business stakeholders and serving as a mentor to innovative teams
  • Business & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Experience championing continuous improvement by understanding stakeholder objectives, customer feedback, and proposing solutions to shape products

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a senior thought partner on retail media trends, ad tech evolution, and emerging industry models
  • Help define and mature campaign management, attribution, and reporting platforms as they are brought inhouse

  • Assist in the development and code review of web applications using Java, React and NodeJS microservices
  • Implement solutions in cloud environments leveraging Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure
  • Design new solutions and system architecture across a diverse technology stack leveraging SaaS platforms
  • Work with enterprise architecture to provide platform expertise and the adoption of enterprise platforms
  • Partner with Product Owners to groom stories into technical requirements and functional needs
  • Enhance product by identifying new software/service opportunities
