Synergy ECP is a leading provider of cybersecurity, software and systems engineering, and IT services to the U.S. intelligence and defense communities. They are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java development and Linux environments to support enterprise-grade, high-performance applications in distributed computing environments.
Responsibilities:
• Strong experience with enterprise/server-side Java development
• Experience with the Spring Framework and Dependency Injection
• Experience developing applications in high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed computing environments
• Strong proficiency working in Linux-based development environments
• Experience using: Git, Maven, Gradle
• Experience developing analytics using: Apache Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce
• Experience designing and developing applications with: Apache Accumulo, Similar NoSQL databases
• Experience processing: Large datasets, High-volume data ingest pipelines
• Experience monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting: Apache Accumulo, Apache Hadoop, Apache Zookeeper deployments
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong experience with enterprise/server-side Java development
