Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, preserving the nuances in their experiences and backgrounds.
• Developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning therapeutic goals with individual progress to foster personal growth.
• Facilitating engaging individual therapy sessions through various evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a current and valid license as a mental health professional in the state of Kansas (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD).
• Have obtained a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
