Coordinate with internal partners (Market Leadership, Fiduciary Leadership, Legal Compliance) to resolve issues, deliver timely service, and expand relationships.
Lead the new-account process: review and validate documents; ensure proper funding; open accounts with correct coding for statements, proxies, investments, and tax; confirm beneficiary data; secure fee agreements; and monitor terminations and distributions through closure.
Conduct ongoing account oversight: cash management, distributions, approvals, overdrafts, bill payments, and exception clearing; troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and present discretionary requests to the Wealth Management Committee, document rationales and outcomes.
Oversee periodic administrative and investment reviews; collaborate with Portfolio Managers to confirm alignment with trust terms and client objectives.
Maintain regular contact with current and remainder beneficiaries; educate stakeholders and capture future business opportunities.
Support market growth: join client/prospect meetings as a subject-matter expert; contribute to proposals and presentations.
Serve as a fiduciary resource and mentor to Fiduciary Wealth Advisors, Associate Fiduciary Wealth Advisors and Client Service Associates, model best practices and support training.
Stay current on federal and state trust/estate law, tax developments, and industry standards; implement changes into practice.
Uphold internal control standards; remediate audit and exam findings on time and document corrective actions.
Promote an inclusive, client-first culture that reflects the United Bank's brand and values.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
