IRONWORKERS– Northeast Pennsylvania

ICON is currently seeking Ironworkers to support operations in the Northeast Pennsylvania area.

JOB SUMMARY:

Millwright/ironworkers work involves installing steel as well as maintaining, dismantling and repairing new and existing machinery or equipment and its components such as conveyor systems, pulleys, mechanical clutches, gear boxes, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.

Ironworkers must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. They frequently handle, lift, carry and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to 50 pounds (23 kg).

SKILLS/QUALIFICATION:

• 2+ years of experience preferred but not required.
• Ability and willingness to travel to various local job sites within a work week. Rare but occasional out-of-town travel as well.
• Required to possess and maintain a personal set of hand tools.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Expected to ensure their workmanship meets or exceeds applicable standard industry and or customer contract specifications.
• Direct industrial construction experience will result in better compensation.
