Job description

Why Trinity Tool?

Trinity Tool is looking for a CNC Turning Setup I who takes pride in a clean setup and a good first article. We hire for character and promote from within — most of our leaders started on the floor, and this role is a direct step toward Setup II and lead positions. You'll work with an awesome, collaborative team in a shop that's safe, clean, organized, and climate controlled.

A schedule that fits your life: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm — home by mid-afternoon every day, evenings and weekends free.

See our shop, machines, and the parts we make: www.trinity-tool.com · Facebook · YouTube

What you'll do

  • Primarily setup jobs in our lathes (2-9 axis Hyundai and Doosan Lathes)
  • Manage job-specific requirements: production rates, operation details, setup data, programs, tooling, and fixture organization
  • Monitor and maintain product conformity — verify gage calibration and condition, complete first articles
  • Record data in data collection and understand product identification (in-process, non-conforming)
  • Train others on the basics of being a good operator, as needed
  • Basic machine maintenance
  • Assembly, packing, tumbling, deburring, running production
  • 3S – Sort, Shine, Standardize
  • Follow safety guidelines and serve our team and customers

What we're looking for

  • CNC turning setup experience (required)
  • A coachable, adaptable attitude and willingness to keep learning
  • Able to stand for most of the shift and lift 35 lbs or more
  • Comfortable learning our systems

Pay & benefits

  • $27-$31/hr, 1st shift — pay based on setup experience
  • Health insurance — Trinity Tool covers 100% of the employee's base premium
  • HSA — $50/month company contribution
  • Simple IRA — 3% company match
  • 2 weeks PTO accrual in your first year, plus paid holidays
  • Add-on plans: Dental, Vision, DC-FSA, supplemental insurances
