Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Mental Health Therapist will undertake a variety of responsibilities pivotal to the therapeutic process:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to address client needs and enhance emotional well-being.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify mental health challenges and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Engage in ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure continued client progress.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to contribute to a holistic treatment approach, sharing insights and resources to support client growth.
  • Document clinical notes in a timely manner to facilitate coordinated care and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Current and active licensure in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to empathize and engage clients effectively.
Preferred Experience

In addition to the essential qualifications, candidates with experience in substance abuse counseling, trauma-informed care, or specialized therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR) will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record systems or telehealth platforms will also be advantageous.
