Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Trinity Counseling Services, your responsibilities will encompass a range of impactful tasks:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of students to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities suited to the specific circumstances of the student.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, respecting client confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprised of educators, school psychologists, and health professionals to coordinate care and address the holistic needs of each student.
  • Participate in regular peer consultations and case reviews to enhance clinical skills and improve treatment outcomes.
  • Provide psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with tools and information about mental health resources and support networks.
  • Stay current with the latest mental health research and integrate new findings into clinical practice to continually enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents. This includes addressing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting your commitment to advancing your expertise in the field.
  • A valid LCSW license to practice in New York State, demonstrating your professional qualifications and compliance with industry standards.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on psychotherapy services with youth populations.
  • Proven competence in solution-focused therapy techniques and interventions aimed at fostering meaningful behavioral change.

Preferred Experience
