Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead interactive group therapy sessions where young adults can share their experiences, build connections, and support one another in a safe environment.
  • Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized sessions that allow clients to explore their feelings and thoughts, encouraging them towards personal breakthroughs and coping strategies.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and personal aspirations.
  • Progress Monitoring: Utilize a range of assessment tools to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, including regular communication about client progress, case coordination, and feedback on treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on supporting young adults aged 18 to 30 who seek assistance in managing mental health conditions through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will play an integral part in their healing journey, fostering not only personal wellness but also hope and resilience.

Qualifications

To be successful as an LPC at Triangle Counseling Services, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid LPC license in the state of New Jersey.
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting while maintaining high standards of client care.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences would enhance an application:
