Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of new and existing clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that address their specific mental health needs.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Offer crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, guiding them through stabilization and recovery processes.
  • Document and maintain detailed, accurate client records in compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols, utilizing electronic medical record systems.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed about advancements in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting, providing direct mental health services to clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems is a plus, enhancing efficiency in documentation and patient tracking.
Preferred Experience

While not required, the following credentials will enhance your application:

  • A Master's Degree in relevant fields is highly desirable.
  • Experience with specific therapeutic modalities or population-focused techniques.
