Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and administer standardized screening tools to identify patients' mental health needs quickly and accurately.
  • Gather detailed information such as mental status exams, functional impairments, and trauma history, allowing for precise diagnosis and personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific mental health symptoms, ensuring these plans are culturally sensitive and informed by best practices.
  • Utilize trauma-informed methodologies in all therapeutic interventions to create a safe and trusting atmosphere conducive to healing.
  • Facilitate referrals to community resources and ancillary services, prioritizing patients' needs through effective care coordination.
  • Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy and patient progress, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a varied clientele, encompassing different age groups and presenting a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. By employing a holistic and integrative approach, you will help clients navigate their mental health challenges within the supportive frameworks of therapy. By fostering relationships with diverse populations, you will strengthen your understanding of each client's unique cultural context and mental health experience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Candidates must be licensed as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
  • Current and valid licensure or registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences is essential.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis counseling and familiarity with the mental health needs of children and families is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse populations while demonstrating strong cultural competency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside organizational and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • A solid understanding of mental health policies, procedures, and best practices within a telehealth framework.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
