Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans aligned with best practices.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective psychotherapy sessions.
• Maintaining thorough and precise clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists and psychologists to deliver cohesive and coordinated care for all clients.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to continuously enhance service delivery and clinical outcomes.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources to empower them in making informed decisions for their treatment.
• Staying informed of the latest research developments in the mental health field to incorporate new evidence-based practices into your treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will include a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, presenting a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. You will have the opportunity to develop strong therapeutic alliances with clients from different backgrounds, appreciating the unique context of their lives while addressing their mental health needs through personalized treatment interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.
• At least two years of clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services.
• Demonstrable proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and formulate appropriate responses.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of thriving in a remote team-based environment while providing excellent patient care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly preferred:

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting.
• Background in working with diverse populations and familiarity with cultural competency issues.
• Knowledge of local community resources and additional support systems to assist clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
