Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough one-on-one patient consultations to assess individual health needs and create personalized acupuncture treatment plans.
• Facilitate group acupuncture sessions and teach acupressure techniques to enhance the collective healing experience.
• Document patient interactions meticulously within our electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure continuity of care and effective follow-up.
• Provide educational sessions to patients, client groups, and staff about the benefits and methods of acupuncture, fostering a culture of wellness education.
• Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to integrate acupuncture into comprehensive treatment plans, addressing a multitude of conditions ranging from chronic pain to stress management.
• Perform additional related responsibilities and projects as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient care, working with patients who seek acupuncture therapy for various health issues, including pain management, stress relief, and overall wellness. While most of your work will be with outpatients, there may be opportunities to engage with hospitalized patients, adapting your expertise to different clinical settings.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in acupuncture or a related field.
• Current and valid acupuncture license in the state of Texas.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of professional appearance and demeanor.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster effective interactions with patients, staff, and the community.
• A strong commitment to high-quality patient service, evidenced by a compassionate and empathetic approach to care.

Preferred Experience

• 1-2 years of hands-on acupuncture experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement treatment plans tailored to diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits
