Job description

Will Call Clerk

Ganahl Lumber Company is the oldest lumberyard and hardware supply store in the State of California. Since 1884, we have been a family and employee owned business selling building supplies and hardware for pro contractors and DIY enthusiasts alike. Our products include tools, paint, building materials, millwork, doors and windows. Ganahl Lumber is an equal opportunity employer providing a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salaries.

We are seeking a friendly and competent Will Call Clerk to assist with customer orders and complete a range of day-to-day administrative duties. You will be responsible for answering the telephone and taking messages, greeting customers, filing, mailing, and maintaining and updating inventory records.

The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with people and have strong organization and time management skills. 

Will Call Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers with great hospitality.
  • Process customer orders and file documents.
  • Maintain records for inventory database.
  • Operate office equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines.
Will Call Clerk Requirements:
  • Strong Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, database and basic accounting software.
