Job description

Service Technician

Tim Short Auto Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our growing team. We are committed to providing top-quality automotive service while creating a positive, supportive work environment. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems, and are passionate about cars, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on vehicles (oil changes, brake work, engine diagnostics, etc.)
  • Conduct thorough inspections and identify mechanical issues
  • Accurately document repair work and communicate findings with service advisors
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred
  • ASE certifications a plus (but not required)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
