At Thrive Compassionate Counseling, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality mental health services that empower individuals to regain control over their lives. Our organization is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population, which includes children and adolescents facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. We utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices and focus on community engagement, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their specific needs. Our goal is to foster resilience, enhance coping skills, and promote mental well-being among our clients.

As part of a dynamic team, the individual will have access to advanced technological tools that facilitate teletherapy and remote interventions, allowing for seamless communication and monitoring of student progress. Regular virtual team meetings and professional development workshops ensure that our therapists feel supported and engaged, even from a distance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments through structured interviews, observations, and a thorough review of students' academic and behavioral records to identify emotional and social needs impacting their educational experience.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling services to students and their families, addressing adjustment difficulties and promoting mental well-being through individualized therapeutic approaches.
  • Collaborate with school staff and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize the psychosocial needs of each student.
  • Guide students in accessing vital community resources, including local support groups, educational interventions, and extracurricular activities that promote social engagement.
  • Facilitate discharge planning for students transitioning out of therapy or into different educational settings, ensuring a smooth reintegration process with continued support.
  • Conduct follow-up meetings to assess the progress of students, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and observed outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on students from K-12 educational backgrounds who may be experiencing various emotional and social challenges. This includes students facing issues such as bullying, trauma, family dynamics, and academic stress. The role provides an opportunity to work closely with vulnerable populations, empowering them to navigate their challenges while fostering positive mental health and life skills.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of psychosocial dynamics, adjustment disorders, and coping strategies specific to a school-aged population.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an intrinsic ability to connect with young individuals and their families.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a school environment or similar educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with trauma-informed care approaches and developing interventions that prioritize emotional and social well-being in youth.
  • Familiarity with telehealth tools and software that facilitate remote counseling services.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, in addition to a sign-on bonus.
